I ended up buying the rosewood extension hammer as a replacement for a simple goose neck unit to go alongside an impact hammer, so I can't really speak to using it as my only hammer. That said, the metal parts of the hammer are all tight-fitting and look/feel well made. I have no concerns about wobble in the extension. The wood handle is beautiful but not an A+ finish. Happy. Great customer servic

I happened to find another tuning lever: S-18 Schaff Factory Tuning Lever - $65.25 from this site. I found this one has little longer lever (13"). I finished one round of tuning and it worked very well. The tool is solid, providing good communion with the pins. Also, the handle is big enough so that my hand had no pressure point to struggle with.

The customer service was very professional.

I had my doubts about the tip required for of my Schimmel piano. As indicated in your web site, the hammer included a tip #2. It was good that I purchased in addition the tip #1. This was the right tip for my piano.
