Absolutely beautiful Petite Artist bench, very well made. Worth the value.
I've been sitting on a thick atlas on top of my non-adjustable piano bench for the past several years to reach the correct playing height. The new Jansen adjustable bench solves this problem. The bench is outstandingly engineered: solid wood, a smoothly operating and silent adjustment mechanism, and an attractive appearance that makes me want to sit down and play. Made in the USA. Very pleased.
I needed a bench that could be adjusted down to at least 18.5 inches, as I am only 5’1.5” tall. This bench actually adjusts from 17.5 inches on up It is heavy but sturdy—a truly high quality piano bench.

It was expensive but it is top shelf in quality and delivery.

While I was tempted to purchase the larger bench model I ended up going for the Petite bench because I'm using it for a small grand (5'7"). I'm glad I went with this model because it really is a better match for less than concert grand size pianos. The quality is similar and this is a much better product than cheap competitors promote. This arrived promptly and was easy to assemble.
This bench is perfect for smaller grands. I'm very pleased with the quality of this bench. I don't understand why this size isn't promoted more because it is actually a better fit for most pianos. Unless you have a 6' +, this is more suitable than the larger size for single player use.
