I needed to replace a broken sustain pedal hinge on my Kimball baby grand. I was able use this Steel Pedal Bracket in an upside-down configuration to work well. The center hole in the plastic needed to be drilled out a tiny bit to accommodate the piano's existing hinge pin, and the mounting screws required the holes to be pre-drilled to avoid splitting the wood. I'm very pleased with the result.
