This Paul Jansen artist bench is extremely well engineered and well made - an excellent bench.
The quality I expected from a handmade Jansen bench. Pleased at just how smoothly the parts move to adjust height, as well as the overall solid construction of the full-size Artist Bench I ordered. Additionally, I could have only hoped to receive it so quickly! I thought it would take weeks, but it arrived in about a week...really needed the bench, so it was appreciated!
After trying a very cheap Chinese bench - it was awful - I called Vanda King to purchase a new bench, comfort being most important. It was suggested I consider the Jansen bench. I have absolutely no regrets. I have spent hours in total comfort sitting at the piano on my new bench. It is excellent furniture, attractive, overbuilt, with a beautifully machined mechanism. Expensive but well worth it.
The shopping experience was great.....knowledgeable sales staff! I knew the product and they were able to answer questions related to a secure delivery. Excellent customer service and nice to see that it still exists!

The Jansen artist bench is absolutely perfect! The mahogany empire legs are a wonderful match for our rosewood victorian parlor grand piano! And the cover is lovely with the Knabe name in gold to match the font on the piano. THANK YOU TO ALL!

Excellent experience ordering from Vanda King, very helpful and informative. Bench is perfect, solid as a rock, and adjustable so I can set the right height. I wanted level forearms, and was concerned about bench height and if the cushion would be too squishy. Ordered 2 inch longer legs, cushion is firm yet comfortable. Playing like Horowitz now (in my dreams)! Very happy!
We are extremely pleased with our Paul Jansen Artist Piano Bench ordered through vadking.com (pianoshowacaseonline.com). The color and quality of the brown synthetic leather seat is perfect for our vintage mahogany Steinway Baby Grand. We special ordered the top without tufting to suit our contemporary tastes and are very pleased with it--its a firm seat but comfortable. Delivery was prompt.
