After the initial problem when I was given erroneous information the subsequent customer service people handled my problems efficiently. I received one damaged bench and then a second damaged bench even though I was assured that these packages are inspected thoroughly.The damage in both cases was the same problem only worse on the second. After a $50 credit I kept the lesser damaged of the two.
Our responseThank you for your email. We never ask customers to keep a damaged product! We always either replace the damaged item free, or give a full refund if you don't want it. Perhaps the damage couldn't have been that bad if you kept it for $50 off.
This bench is better made than the original all wood construction. The legs are bolted on steel-reinforced corners. The bench is 100% stable on the wood floor, no wobbles. I would have selected the "light walnut" stain if that was offered, but the dark one is close enough. Storage compartment could have been finished nicer than raw pegboard for $400. Just sayin'....
Bench is solid. It matches our piano perfectly. We went with the Walnut and Brown top. I had hoped to find real leather, but it wasn't available in this style in a high quality bench. The leatherette is high quality, and the bench can seat two if needed, but we have an upright and usually only 1 person plays. My son is the main pianist in our family, and he loves it.
I was amazed to receive the bench so quickly!!! It was delivered in just a few days. Thank you!!! I wish that there was a pecan color, as the color I received was good, I just wish it were the exact color of the piano. I did not see on your website the pecan color. Otherwise, I am very happy!!!
